Jamie’s (Amy Smart) husband has succumbed to his coma after two years, so J.D. goes to the funeral to pay his respects. Later, they give into the sexual tension that has been building up and have sex in a closet at the funeral home. Afterwards, J.D. is convinced that their moment of passion was a reaction to her husband?s death and she?s not ready to be in a relationship yet.

While heading back home, he pulls off the road to pee in the bushes, which are next to a house. He is startled when he sees a naked Janitor get into the shower. Because the Janitor?s penis is in plain view, he can?t help but notice that there is some kind of lesion or wart on it. Because the lesion could be cancerous J.D. reports this to Dr. Cox back at the hospital. He tells him that it?s his duty to check it out. The lesion turns out to be fine.

J.D. has another patient that he has to attend to - Mr. Mueller (Soren Hellerup), who has a cancerous melanoma on his liver. Since Mr. Mueller only speaks German, his brother Hermann (Ingo Neuhaus) translates for him. He repeats J.D.?s words exactly, except for the part where he says that the prognosis for recovery isn?t good. Hermann tells his brother that ?he?ll be fine.?

J.D. finds out what he really said when Elliot tells him that she had a nice conversation with Mr. Mueller, in German. It?s revealed that Mueller?s brother lied to him because he wanted to spare him the truth. It later turns out that Mueller?s liver cancer has actually improved.

At the same time, Turk is having his own weird sexual experience. While asleep on the couch in the doctor?s lounge, he dreams that Elliot, dressed in sexy lingerie and surgical mask, is kissing him on an operating table. Since he and Carla are in the middle of planning their wedding, this dream is a little disturbing. Carla later finds out from Turk?s patient, who overheard Turk and Todd talking about it while he was being operated on.

She takes off the engagement ring and gives it back to Turk and then puts it back on again, joking the whole time.

Meanwhile, Jordan asks Perry?s help in taking care of the baby, which is still nameless. He has fun babysitting, but hasn?t quite created that bond with the baby. When Jordan asks him to watch the baby again the next day, Perry makes up an excuse to get out of it. Jordan realizes that he lied to her when she catches him playing a basketball game at the time he said he would be giving a lecture. Perry admits to J.D. later that he isn?t bonding at all with the baby.

After giving it some thought, J.D. realizes that he doesn?t know what is best for Jamie so he tells her that he does want to be in a relationship with her.
